In Sunday's Ravens high school Quarterback Challenge, Howard's Kevin Sheahin teamed up with receiver Keenan Fisher to best Howard County rival River Hill at halftime of the Ravens-Panthers game at M&T Bank Stadium.

Sheahin and Fisher connected on a 40-yard pass for the winning combination as the longest of the afternoon. River Hill quarterback Noah Thyberg hit Jon Kanda with a 35-yard pass to open the competition, but Sheahin and Fisher then connected for 40 yards.

The Hawks had another shot and Thyberg also completed his second pass, to Chuck McLaughlin, but at 36 yards it wasn't long enough to beat the Lions. Sheahin's final attempt to Christian Dargan was incomplete.

With their victory, the Lions players earned $250 college savings plans for themselves as well as a $500 Under Armour gift card for their athletics department.

The Hawks will have their chance to exact a little revenge when the teams, both currently undefeated, meet on Halloween.
