A Baltimore County police officer found two men suffering from stab wounds after a traffic stop early Saturday in Parkville, police said.

Police later arrested Randy Monsio Bropleh, 21, and him charged with attempted murder and first-degree assault. Police said Bropleh was injured during the stabbings, but they did not elaborate.

About 12:30 a.m., a county police officer saw a car go through a stop sign without stopping at Bon Air Road and Taylor Avenue. The officer followed and the car eventually stopped but backed into the patrol car, prompting the passenger to flee on foot.

The officer was not hurt in incident, police said.

Police said the 21-year-old driver remained in the car and told the officer that he and his brother had been stabbed. The driver was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He was listed in fair condition.

The 19-year-old passenger was found nearby suffering from more serious stab wounds. He was listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
