Patterson Mill, Bel Air beat out-of-county girls soccer opponents

Two Harford County girls soccer teams took on out-of-county opponents Friday afternoon and both came out winners.

Annapolis came to Patterson Mill, only to be sent home with a 3-2 loss in overtime. The game was knotted at 1 at the half.

Taylor Dick, Kaley Thompson and Marissa Lapinsky scored for the Huskies.

Emily Lock and Amanda Cantor netted Annapolis' goals.

Andi Whiteford was in goal for Patterson Mill.

Off to Howard

Bel Air traveled to Howard, where it came away with a 2-1 win, despite being down 1-0 at halftime.

Elizabeth Hillman and Kayla Klock scored for the Bobcats, with assists from Shannon Williams and Jaimie Layfield. Andrea Sipos had eight saves in goal for Bel Air.

Nia Elbeck, assisted by Hannah Weaver, scored for Howard. Marisa Grant had 20 saves.
