Man fatally shot in Northwest Baltimore

Baltimore Police were investigating an early morning homicide in Northwest Baltimore.

Police said a man, identified Friday as 24-year-old Wendell Wright, was found shot multiple times in the 3800 block of Boarman Ave., in the Callaway-Garrison neighborhood, at about 12:50 a.m. Wright was lying in the street, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead at 1:29 a.m.

Police asked anyone with information to call homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.

The Northwestern District has seen the most homicides in the city this year, with 28 killings.
