Man shot in elbow in Northeast Baltimore

A man was shot in the elbow in Northeast Baltimore on Thursday night, according to Baltimore Police.

Officers responded to the 2900 block of Southern Avenue in the city's Lauraville neighborhood about 9:47 p.m. and found the injured man, police said.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care, police said. His injuries were not considered life-threatening late Thursday, police said.
