A man was shot in the back and injured in a shooting in Glen Burnie Thursday morning, Anne Arundel County police said.

The 28-year-old victim was found shot in the lower back in the 7500 block of Harlow Drive around 4:40 a.m. and was taken to a hospital, police said. He is expected to survive.

A witness told police that the victim went outside the apartment complex after getting a phone call and spoke to a group of six to 10 male suspects. The witness then heard shots and saw the victim run to the back of the building and go into his apartment through a rear sliding door. The suspects were not found.
