Man shot in the groin in West Baltimore

A man was shot in the groin late Saturday, Baltimore police said. He is expected to survive his injuries.

About 11 p.m., officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in 600 block of N. Carrollton Ave. in the Harlem Park section of West Baltimore, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police did not provide additional information about a suspect or a motive. Western District detectives ask anyone with information about the case to call 410-396-2477.
