Ravens veteran Steve Smith will be honored Sept. 30 by the National Law Center on Homelessness & Poverty.

The five-time Pro Bowl wide receier will be honored at the 16th annual McKinney-Vento Awards in Washington, D.C.

Smith will receive the Stewart B. McKinney Award.

Smith and his wife, Angie, established the Steve Smith Family Foundation to champion the cause of the homeless, advocate against domestic violence and help families in need.
