Police investigate after two are admitted to hospitals with gunshot wounds

Two men suffering from gunshot wounds were admitted to local hospitals Saturday. Both are expected to survive their injuries and Baltimore police are investigating.

About 11 p.m., a 37-year-old man was admitted to a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg. The man told police that he was shot in the 600 block of N. Dukeland St. in the Mosher section of West Baltimore.

Police did not provide information about motives or suspects in that case.

About 3 p.m., a 21-year-old man was admitted to a local hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told police that he was walking in the 3000 block of N. Hilton St. in the Forest Park section of Northwest Baltimore when a man tried to rob him. The victim said he was shot as he fled.
