On Friday nights, Brady Ludwig and David Marrocco are both quarterbacks for Old Mill's football team, but Thursday night they teamed up to win the Ravens' High School QB Challenge over Anne Arundel County rival Arundel.

Ludwig, a senior, was the Patriots' quarterback for the Challenge, and he completed a 54-yard pass to Marrocco for the game-winning toss at halftime of the Ravens'-Steelers game at M&T Bank Stadium.

The longest completed pass wins the challenge and Ludwig had two attempts, each to a different receiver, as did his counterpart, Arundel senior Anthony Messsenger.

The quarterbacks completed all of their passes, but the Ludwig-Marrocco connection earned a $250 college savings plan for each Old Mill player and a $500 Under Armour gift card for the Patriots' athletics department.

Messenger completed a 43-yard pass to senior Isaiah Watson and a 50-yard pass to senior Aaren Porter. Ludwig also completed a 45-yard pass to senior Noah Fitzgerald.
