Tech help needed for Orioles-Ravens fans [Letter]

September 08, 2014

As we do indeed rejoice in our good sports fortune of having the Orioles playing meaningful games at the same time that the Ravens open their new season ("The Tell-Tale Heart," Sept. 4) and face the decision of which one to watch when their telecasts compete, I wonder why in this era of "smart" TVs, someone can't reinvent PIP (picture-in-picture) or split-screen technology.

It wasn't that long ago during the VCR era that two broadcasts could be viewed simultaneously on the same screen and you could flip back and forth between them for sound. Get on it, "Z."
