Man shot in the shoulder in Northeast Baltimore

A 36-year-old man was injured when he was shot in the shoulder in Northeast Baltimore's Frankford neighborhood Thursday night, police said.

Officers were dispatched at about 9:18 p.m. to an area hospital, where the man told them he'd been shot in the 5500 block Bowleys Ln., police said. His injuries were not life threatening, police said.

Northeast District detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2444.
