Police investigating Randallstown shooting

Suspect and victim fighting inside apartment when suspect fired

Baltimore County police are investigating a shooting Saturday afternoon in Randallstown that left a 17-year-old boy injured.

Police said the teen and suspect were fighting inside of an apartment in the 3500 block of Carriage Hill Circle when the suspect shot the teen once in the lower body, and both fled the scene. Police were called to the area at 4:16 p.m.

The teen was treated at Northwest Hospital for a non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the teen knew the shooter, but said no suspect information is available.

The county's violent crimes unit is investigating. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.
