Responding to a report of an assault, Ocean City police found Justin Daniel Cancelliere, 37, of North Whitehall, Pa., unconscious and unresponsive about 3 a.m. outside the Plim Plaza Hotel in the 100 block of N. Atlantic Ave.

First responders from the Ocean City Police and Fire departments treated Cancelliere at the scene and took to him to Atlantic General Hospital, where he later died.
