There were no real fights between the Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers during a joint practice session Saturday at the Ravens' training complex.
The closest they came to a skirmish was a brief shoving match between Ravens outside linebacker Pernell McPhee and 49ers fullback Will Tukuafu.
And that didn't seem to surprise the father of Ravens coach John Harbaugh and 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh.
"The amazing thing is these teams that get together, they normally do the two or three days before the game, and then you play the game and get on the plane and go home," said Jack Harbaugh, a retired former football coach at Western Kentucky, Western Michigan and Michigan. "The way they chose to do it was unique in my opinion. You do the game first, and then you have the things that happen in the ballgame, and something might have been said, and then you see how they practice.
