Ravens starting middle linebacker Daryl Smith and special teams ace Albert McClellan aren't practicing Wednesday.

Smith is expected back as soon as Thursday after experiencing general soreness.

The Ravens' leading tackler from last season, Smith practiced Monday night without incident. McClellan, a reserve linebacker, was in and out of the practice, with an irritated heel that's still bothering him.

Meanwhile, starting cornerback Lardarius Webb remains sidelined with a back issue. Tests revealed no structural damage to Webb's back, according to sources. It's believed to be a muscle injury.

Offensive guard Will Rackley is out with concussion symptoms. Nose tackle Terrence Cody is on the physically unable to perform list after undergoing offseason hip surgery.

Undrafted rookie offensive tackle Parker Graham returned to practice after being out since the start of camp last week with a groin injury.
