Adam Jones earns Orioles fans $7 off tickets with Home Run Derby performance

July 15, 2014|By Jon Meoli | The Baltimore Sun

Adam Jones was one of the highlights from last night's Home Run Derby, even if he didn't make it past the second round.

His ubiquitous WWE title belt made another appearance, he stared down Jett Ruiz for the rare Home Run Derby brushback pitch, and his presence gave us a cameo from Matt Wieters and his bionic arm.

Jones also is saving his hometown fans a little money if they want to see that batting practice power manifest itself in a game. The Orioles promised a dollar off tickets for every home run Jones hit, and are following through with a promo code to make that happen.

The discount applies to the July 29-31 series with the Los Angeles Angels at Camden Yards, and fans who use the coupon code "ADAM" at checkout before Thursday at 11:59p.m. (or when supplies run out) can get $7 off select lower level tickets for that series.
