Elderly relatives dead in apparent murder-suicide

Police say man and woman were believed to be suffering from medical conditions

Two elderly relatives who both battled health problems were found dead in an East Baltimore home Saturday in what Baltimore City police believe was a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to a call of a suicide attempt around 11 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Folcroft St. When officers arrived, they found Janet Dalesio, 84, shot in the head and Ronald Kullman, 75, with an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head, police said.

A preliminary investigation found that the two were relatives, who police said were both "suffering from a host of long-term medical conditions."

Officials said they did not believe anybody else was involved in the killings.
