Four people shot in city in less than 24 hours

Woman shot on E. Federal St. remains in critical but stable condition

Four people were shot in less than 24 hours, Baltimore police said on Tuesday.

A woman remains listed in critical but stable condition at a local hospital after she was shot in the 1800 block of East Federal Street in the Broadway East neighborhood, shortly after midnight early Tuesday, police said.

About 11 p.m. Monday, police found a man with a gunshot wound to the lower back and buttocks in the 1300 block of Booth Street. Police said the shooting occurred about a block away in 1300 block of Hollins Street in the Union Square section of West Baltimore. The victim was listed good condition at a local hospital, police said.

About 6 p.m. Monday, police found a man with apparent gunshot wound to the right shoulder at Orleans Street and Broadway near Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was taken to area hospital and has since been released, police said. District detectives said the man was shot nearby in the 200 block of North Bond Street in Dunbar-Broadway section of East Baltimore.

Police were called at 1:37 a.m. Monday to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting. A male victim had a graze wound on his forehead and was later released from the hospital. Police said the shooting happened in the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road in the Woodmere section of northwest Baltimore.
