Man shot in leg in E. Baltimore

A man walked into an area hospital Sunday after being shot in the leg, Baltimore police said.

Officers were called to the hospital around 1:30 p.m. after the man arrived with the gunshot wound. The unidentified man, 37, was being treated for his injuries and is expected to survive, police said.

Investigators believe he was shot in the 2200 block of Prentiss Place in the Middle East neighborhood in the Eastern district.
