Relatives of royalty made it to Annapolis overnight.

The Race Across America bicycle team that included Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, made it to its final stop in Annapolis around 3 a.m.

Pippa Middleton was part of an eight-person team that included her brother, James Middleton, for the Michael Matthews Foundation.

The foundation was established after Matthews died while climbing down Mount Everest. It now helps to give low-income children an education, and often builds schools for communities in needs.

Race Across America started last weekend in California, and crosses 12 states. The 3,000 trek is regarded as the world's top endurance cycling event.

The local Team Friends Foundation, which raised money for several local charities, finished overnight as well around 1:10 a.m.

City Dock has been welcoming racers since Wednesday, when Austria's Christoph Strasser finished the course in 7 days, 15 hours and 56 minutes.
