Three local high schools have advanced to the championship round of the Ravens 7-on-7 Football Tournament.

John Carroll, Westminster and Broadneck will play in the tournament's final round at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, beginning at 4 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for 9 p.m.

The three-round tournament began on May 31 at St. Paul's School. John Carroll emerged from that field, along with Fort Hill, Northwest and Oxon Hill.

Wesminster and Broadneck advanced from a regional tournament on June 7 at Frederick High School. Kent County and Briar Woods (Va.) also advanced from that tournament.

The tournament began with 1,200 athletes competing on 64 high school teams.

Teams are guaranteed to play in three 40-minute games on Saturday, but the tournament is single-elimination.
