One dead in fatal fire on Dulany Street

A 60-year-old man was killed in an early Wednesday morning fire in the Millhill neighborhood that also left two firefighters with minor injuries.

At around 2:58 a.m., fire units responded to the blaze, which had enveloped two floors of a duplex residence, Baltimore City fire officials said. The fire had originated on the right side of the structure.

The injured firefighters were transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment.

Three other residents were displaced, but did not suffer injuries.

The cause of the fire, which was under control at 4:28 a.m., remains under investigation.
