Another day of intense humidity and evening storm chances are forecast Wednesday.

A muggy, mild overnight was expected, with lows in the lower 70s in the city and close to the Chesapeake Bay and in the 60s in other suburbs.

Highs are forecast in the mid-80s with dew points around 70 degrees, making it feel uncomfortably humid.

Storms are possible in the afternoon and evening, with a risk of some powerful winds and hail, according to the Storm Prediction Center.

Storm chances are expected to continue into Thursday and Friday, again with highs in the mid-80s and dew points around 70 degrees.

Drier air, sunshine and highs in lower to mid-80s are forecast for the weekend.
