Baltimore County police are investigating the murder of a man who was found with severe upper body trauma in Middle River Monday night.

On Tuesday, police identified the victim as 32-year-old Jason Michael Durham who has a last known address of Autumn Glow Court in Perry Hall.

Officers found Durham in the 100 block of Volz Ave. around 8:30 p.m. The stabbing occurred outside of a home, said Cpl. John Wachter Tuesday. Wachter did not provide additional information about what led to the incident.

"We don't have a motive yet," Wachter said. "We really don't know what led up to the assault."

Durham was pronounced dead at Franklin Square Hospital.

No suspect description was released and police said the nature of the trauma and the cause of death will be determined in an autopsy. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-307-2020.
