Man killed at Glen Burnie homeless camp

A person of interest was arrested

A man was killed in an assault at a homeless camp in Glen Burnie Tuesday night, Anne Arundel County police said.

The victim was pronounced dead upon officers' arrival at the camp in the 7400 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. around 7:40 p.m., police said.

After searching the area, officers arrested a person of interest in the killing, police said.

Neither man's identity was released, nor was a motive. The manner of death was unknown, and officials said homicide detectives are investigating.
