Rainy stretch starts Friday, with highs in upper 50s

A rainy weekend gets going Friday, with temperatures back to normal reaching the upper 50s by the afternoon.

Rain showers were likely throughout the day. After starting off the morning in the upper 30s, temperatures were expected to reach the 50s by midday. Normal highs this time of year are in the upper 50s.

Breezy conditions were expected, with about a 10 mph breeze turning to 20-25 mph in the afternoon.

Lows Saturday morning were expected in the mid-40s, with temperatures not changing much during the day, reaching highs around 50 degrees. Showers, with a more steady and heavy rain at times, were expected for much of the day.

Shower chances could linger into early Sunday, with lows around 40 degrees and highs in the lower 50s.

Clouds were expected to clear out by Monday for Opening Day at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, with highs in the mid-60s.
