March 20, 2014|Staff Reports, The Baltimore Sun

As of 9:20 a.m., the Maryland Department of Transportation reported that an accident in Carroll County that closed Route 27 during the morning rush hour had been cleared. The accident had been on northbound Route 27 in the Twin Arch Road area of Mount Airy.

MDOT cameras were showing traffic moving well as the rush hour came to a close.

The Maryland Transit Administration is reporting that buses and MARC trains are on schedule.

There's a reminder that three light rail stations, Mt. Washington, Cold Spring Lane and Woodberry, will remain closed through March 24 while the MTA completes a track crossing improvement project at Union Avenue and Clipper Mill Road. MTA said buses will operate between the closed stations.
