Two shot and injured in Baltimore on Friday night, Saturday morning

A man was shot in the leg and injured in East Baltimore on Saturday morning, police said.

The man was shot in the 2700 block of Ashland Avenue in the Madison-Eastend neighborhood at around 10:40 a.m., police said. District detectives are investigating the shooting.

Another man was shot in the leg in a robbery in the Belair-Edison neighborhood of Northeast Baltimore Friday night, police said. Officers found the man in the 4200 block of Shamrock Avenue at about 10:45 p.m., and he told investigators that he had been approached by two unknown male suspects who robbed him of cash at gunpoint before he was shot amid a struggle. The victim was stable on Saturday morning.

Police released no information about suspects in either case.
