Society meets

'You Can't Take it With You'

The comedy by Moss Hart and George Kaufman runs March 21 through April 13 at Laurel Mill Playhouse, 508 Main St. in Laurel. Suffragette tea Visitors can enjoy finger sandwiches, cakes, scones, pastries and a choice of two loose-leaf teas at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22. Reservations and prepayment required by March 19. Cost is $$29 per person; $25 for members.

The Savage Community Association's annual plant sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 3 at Carroll Baldwin Hall, 9035 Baltimore St. in Savage. For sale will be annuals, vegetables, herbs and perennials as well as hanging baskets.
