March 10, 2014|Staff Reports, The Baltimore Sun

As of 9:30 a.m., an accident on I-895 north near Childs Street in the city was cleared, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation. The same was true for an early, major incident of the Monday morning commute — a six-vehicle accident on I-795 south in the McDonogh Road area.

Heading into mid-day, transportation officials note the Curtis Creek drawbridge is scheduled for an opening today at noon. That schedule, though, is subject to change.

The Maryland Transit Administration reported minor light rail delays as of 8:45 a.m., with buses and MARC trains on time.
