Two dead, one injured in West Baltimore house fire

Fire department responds to two-story home

Two men died and another was hospitalized after a fire Saturday night in a West Baltimore row home.

Firefighters were called to a two-story home in the 1900 block of N. Pulaski Street at about 11:30 p.m. The fire was quickly brought under control, but it claimed the life of one of four men inside.

Two others were taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma suffering from burns and smoke inhalation, and one died there of his injuries.

The second man remained hospitalized. A fourth man was able to evacuate the house and declined treatment.

The identities of the victims were not released. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
