No. 9 Catonsville girls rout Perry Hall in 4A North

Behind 21 points from Josh Glover and 20 from Juan Brown, Annapolis won its second road game in as many nights Thursday, beating Great Mills, 64-59 in overtime to reach the Class 4A East Region title game.

The Panthers (17-8) will travel to Anne Arundel County rival Severna Park in tonight's title game, tentatively set for 6.

"We've traveled 31/2 hours the past two nights and have had some timely performances," Annapolis coach John Brady said.

No. 13 Severna Park has won all three meetings with Annapolis this season, including a 63-52 victory in the county championship game Feb. 21.

No. 13 Severna Park 74, Glen Burnie 45: Taylor Kitzmiller scored a game-high 19 points to power the host Falcons (23-2) past the Gophers (13-1) in a Class 4A East section final.

No. 14 Reservoir 78, Glenelg 71:

Aaron McDonald stole the ball with 30 seconds left, raced the length of the court and threw down an emphatic two-handed slam to put on the finishing touches as the Gators (18-5) beat the Gladiators in Class 3A East.

No. 9 Catonsville 49, Perry Hall 28: Catonsville's Andrea McTaggart (nine points) made three of the team's six 3-pointers to lead the host Comets (21-3) past the Gators (21-3) in the Class 4A North Region semifinals.

Renee Gast led the Comets with 14 points and six steals and Lauren McDonald grabbed nine rebounds for the winners.

Perry Hall was led by sophomore Shawnika McCallum (15 points).
