A chance for a sprinkle of freezing rain was forecast early Friday before windy conditions and temperatures in the 30s the rest of the day.

Overnight lows were forecast in the mid- to upper 20s. A slight chance of a wintry mix was expected in the early morning hours, particularly south of Baltimore. Anne Arundel County was under a winter weather advisory, with up to a tenth of an inch of ice possible.

Cloudy skies were expected throughout the day, with 15-20 mph winds from the north. Highs were expected in the upper 30s, but with wind chills below freezing.

A warm-up was expected by Saturday, however. Lows early Saturday morning were expected in the mid-30s, with afternoon highs up to the mid-50s. A chance of rain was expected Saturday night.

Lows Sunday morning were again expected in the mid-30s, with highs around 50 and some sunshine in the afternoon.

Highs were expected to approach 60 degrees by Monday and Tuesday.
