Five sheep die in Howard barn fire

The blaze occurred in Glenelg around noon on Sunday

A barn was damaged and five sheep died during a fire in Howard County Sunday afternoon.

Crews responded to the 15000 block of Roxbury Rd. in Glenelg just after noon on Sunday for a report of a barn fire, the Howard County Fire and Rescue Services stated on Twitter.

Large hay bales were ablaze at the scene, according to Howard County Fire and Rescue.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the extent of its damages were not immediately available. Investigators were on the scene as of 2:30 p.m., according to Howard County Fire and Rescue.
