Anne Arundel County police are investigating the discovery of a woman's body at an Annapolis park on Friday.

The body of 48-year-old Diane Donati was found in a ravine around 12:20 p.m. by someone walking their dog at Bestgate Park on Bestgate Road, police said. Police said Donati, whose last known address was unknown, was fully clothed and "dressed for cold weather," including a blue blanket that appeared to have been wrapped around her for warmth.

Investigators saw no signs of trauma or foul play, police said. The woman's body was expected to be taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy.

Bestgate Park is owned by Anne Arundel County and includes fields, basketball courts and tennis courts.

This is the second time this winter a body has been found in Anne Arundel County. The body of Diana Kapnistos Hester, 49, was found at the Bay Hills Golf Course in Arnold on Jan. 22. An autopsy found she had signs of hypothermia and no signs of foul play were found in the investigation. Hester lived about a mile away from where her body was found.
