The Terps (21-5, 9-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) took the lead for good after 1:57 elapsed and outscored the Seminoles (17-9, 5-8) by 53-35 in the first half. Maryland increased its lead to a game-high 22 points on a 3-pointer by Lexi Brown with 17:34 remaining in the game.
Towson 75, William & Mary 69: LaTorri Hines-Allen scored a game-high 24 points and the host Tigers (12-14, 6-7 Colonial Athletic Association) beat the Tribe (6-18, 3-9) and ended a three-game losing streak.
Towson 79, Northeastern 70: Rafriel Guthrie scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Tigers (19-9, 10-3 CAA) past the Huskies (9-19, 6-8).
The win marks the most for Towson since it finished 21-9 in 1993-94.
The Tigers hit all eight of their free throws in the final minute, six by Mike Burwell (19 points).
Mount St. Mary's 87, Central Connecticut State 76: The visiting Mount (11-14, 7-5 Northeast Conference) stormed back from a 15-point halftime deficit to beat the Blue Devils (9-17, 5-8).
Sam Prescott led four Mountaineers in double figures with 19 points.
