Edmondson coach Darnell Dantzler served a Baltimore City League-sanctioned one-game suspension for his role in Tuesday's loss to No. 10 Patterson, which officials ended with 44.3 seconds left in the third quarter.

The No. 7 Red Storm (14-5) carried on with his brother, Terrell Dantzler, the junior varsity coach, at the helm. Edmondson defeated visiting Douglass, 62-35, on Wednesday.

Edmondson switched defenses from a 2-3 zone to a 1-2-2 zone and got seven straight turnovers in the third quarter to pull away from the Ducks. Kanie Coles led the Red Storm with 17 points and Chad Lester had 11points.

During Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Darnell Dantzler said, he called a timeout and called his players over to calm them down over what he termed poor officiating. He said the referees interpreted his actions as walking out on the game.
