Netflix confirmed that all 13 episodes of the second season of "House of Cards" will be available for streaming at 3:01 a.m. (ET) tomorrow (Feb. 14).
There had been bad reports of a midnight launch. That's in part the result, I suspect, of careless reporting and Netflix using Pacific Time, which is three hours behind Eastern Time. But it's not even midnight Pacific Time; it's 12:01 a.m. So let's just be blunt and say those who reported it that way are bad reporters.
I have never seen as much bad reporting as there is in connection with this great series. Remember the widespread online reports that there would be no third season -- a report knocked down here, but reported across the web on sites like Gold Derby, Politico and Huffington Post?
