2 men shot in Baltimore Monday night

Teenager severely injured with gunshot wound to his face; another man shot several times

A teenager was shot in the face and another man was shot several times in Baltimore Monday night, police said.

The teenager was seriously injured in the 2800 block of E. Eager St. in the city's Madison-Eastend neighborhood around 8:30 p.m., and taken to an area hospital, police said.

Due to the severity of his injuries, homicide detectives were investigating the shooting. Police said the man was born in 1995, but didn't say whether he was 18 or 19.

Anyone with information in the shooting may call 410-396-2100.

Around 15 minutes later, a man was shot several times in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave., in Upton, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital, and anyone with information may call Central district detectives at 410-396-2411.

Police did not identify suspects or motives in either shooting.
