NeighborCare closes five Baltimore-area pharmacies

Prescriptions can be filled at nearby Wallgreens

NeighborCare Pharmacies has closed five of its Baltimore-area locations. Customers are being directed to use nearby Walgreens locations to fill their existing prescriptions

The pharmacies closed at 4 p.m. Friday. NeighborCare could not be immediately reached for comment.

Closed locations are: 2600 Liberty Heights Ave., Baltimore; 11085 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia; 23 Crossroad Drive, Owings Mills; 4000 Old Court Road, Pikesville (Naylors); 325 Hospital Drive, Glen Burnie.

According to NeighborCare's website, prescription records were transferred to the following Walgreens locations:

•3801 Liberty Heights Ave., Baltimore; 410-367-8100

•12400 Auto Drive, Clarksville; 410-531-6030

•7953 Crain Highway, Glen Burnie; 410-969-3417

•1510 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville; 410-484-0196
