Anne Arundel County police arrested two people Friday and charged them with stealing a pair of puppies from a home in Gambrills.

Ashley Thomas, 21, and Tennese Koffa, 22, both of Severn, were charged with two counts of felony theft. Charges are pending on a third suspect.

A homeowner told police a man came to his house Wednesday in 1100 block of Patuxent Road in Gambrills, inquirying about the purchase of two pit bull puppies, but no sale were made. The next day the homeowner discovered the puppies were missing and called police.
