Woman found dead in W. Baltimore Tuesday died from 'blunt force trauma'

Homicide detectives investigating Penhurst Avenue death

Police identified the woman found dead behind a West Arlington home on Tuesday as Ina Jenkins, 35.

Jenkins' body was found in the 4000 block of Penhurst Ave. by a neighbor, who called police around 2:30 p.m. An autopsy determined that Jenkins' death was caused by "blunt force trauma" to her body.

Homicide detectives will continue to investigate. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.
