A man was robbed at knifepoint in Brooklyn Park Sunday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

A 56-year-old man was walking home from a grocery store in the 5300 block of Brookwood Road around 1:42 p.m. when a man ran up to him, waved a knife and demanded his wallet, police said. The robber fled the scene after the victim handed him the wallet.

Officers arrested Elisha Jamal Ransome, 18, of the 2900 block of Crystal Palace Lane after canvassing the area for a suspect. Ransome was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft under $100 and assault.

The stolen wallet was recovered.
