Switch, signal problems cause MARC delays

MARC experienced significant delays arriving and departing Union Station on Friday night due to switch and signal problems, the Maryland Transit Administration said. At least one train — a late-afternoon departure to Washington — was canceled.

Passengers were accommodated on later trains, the agency said. Most trains were back on schedule by shortly before 6 p.m., an agency spokesman said.
