Ramp carrying I-95 traffic into city to close Saturday

Routine inspections to close ramp, which connects to I-395

January 15, 2014|By Kevin Rector, The Baltimore Sun

A major exit ramp carrying traffic into Baltimore will be closed on Saturday for "routine inspections," according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The ramp which carries southbound Interstate 95 traffic onto northbound Interstate 395 near Oriole Park at Camden Yards, will close from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The ramp is a major thoroughfare for traffic coming from the north and east of the city into southern Baltimore.

Vehicles headed southbound on I-95 will instead be detoured south to Caton Avenue, then onto northbound I-95 and I-395.
