Columbia Bank in Gambrills robbed Saturday

Man robbed bank shortly before noon

Anne Arundel County Police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who robbed a Columbia Bank in Gambrills just before noon on Saturday.

The suspect showed a note demanding money to an employee of the bank, which is in the 2300 block of Brandermill Blvd., then fled the scene in a minivan heading south on Route 3 toward Prince George's County, police said.

Police did not disclose how much money was taken.

Police described the suspect as a man of average build, around 5 feet 10 inches tall with blue eyes and a reddish-brown goatee.
