Man robs Towson GameStop then flees in employee's car [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

An man armed with a gun held up the GameStop store in the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue on Jan. 3, Baltimore County Police report. According to police, the robber entered the store at about 10 a.m., stole three Xbox Ones, cash a cellphone and car keys from one employee. The robber then fled in the employee's car. The vehicle was later recovered, police report.


Loch Raven Boulevard, 6900 block, between 7:10 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. Jan. 1. Man called taxi, then assaulted driver and stole cellphone in BP station parking lot then fled on foot. Taxi driver followed thief but lost him.

Dumbarton Road, 400 block, between 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and 3:50 a.m. Jan. 1. Person broke into house, left door open. Family dog reported missing.

Blenheim Road, 6400 block, between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. Dec. 28. Person broke into basement, stole computer, video game system from home.

Blenheim Road, 6400 block, between 2 p.m. and 8:54 p.m. Dec. 28. Person broke into basement, stole pie, Nintendo Wii, prescription medications.

York Road, 6300 block, at 8:55 a.m. Dec. 29. Man entered Weight Watchers, pulled out handgun, stole money from register and fled toward York Road.

Dunellen Drive, 900 block, between 12 p.m. Dec. 29 and 6 p.m. Dec. 31. Person entered unlocked shed, stole Honda dirt bike.


Evans Avenue, unit block, between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. Dec. 29. Person broke window in back door, entered house, stole purse from kitchen table containing cellphone, keys, wallet.

Springside Drive, 100 block, between 7 a.m. Dec. 22 and 11:45 p.m. Dec. 27. Person stole two window screens from house, removed two others windows.


West Ridgely Road, 100 block, at 11:45 a.m. Dec. 28. Man reached into elderly woman's car, stole purse out of her hands.


Charington Road, 10100 block, between 11 a.m. Dec. 8 and 11:03 Dec. 30. Person pried open basement window, ransacked house. No items taken.
