Natural celebration The Chabad Center of Anne Arundel County hosts a Tu B'Sevat celebration at 7 p.m. at the Clay Bakers, 151 Main St. in Annapolis. Tu B'Sevat, also known as Jewish Arbor Day, is the "New Year for Trees" on the Jewish calendar. Mystics of the 17th century instituted a celebration for the holiday, which today is noted in many communities as a special day of giving thanks. The holiday is celebrated by eating fruit and reflecting on the lessons we can derive from our botanical analogue. Paint a vase and learn how to make edible topiaries from fruits and vegetables. Caregivers A workshop for caregivers will be presented by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 333 Dubois Road. Molly Sherwood and Marcie Gibbons will give a talk on ways of maintaining your equilibrium and well-being as a caregiver, followed by group discussions focusing on end-of-life care, dementia care and long-term care. The event is free; donations will be accepted.
