East Columbia

Dobbin Road, 6100 block, 3:29 p.m. Dec. 22. Female suspect stole items from Target and assaulted security guard while second female suspect acted as lookout. First suspect fled in black BMW. Second suspect located. Ongoing investigation.

Morningbird Lane, 5900 block, 7:36 p.m. Dec. 20. Residents heard loud bangs against front door. Door frame cracked.

Herbert Drive, 5100 block, 5:19 p.m. Dec. 20. Garage door glass broken. Nothing stolen.

Procopio Circle, 7200 block, between 3 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 20. Entry gained through unlocked upstairs window. TV stolen.

Hidden Cove, 7300 block, 6:32 a.m. Dec. 19. Silver 2004 Honda Accord stolen.

Cradlerock Way, 7100 block, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 15. Acquaintance asked victim to use cellphone. Victim refused. Acquaintance assaulted victim. Phone stolen.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway, 10300 block, 6:22 p.m. Dec. 22. American Eagle employee approached two female suspects attempting to shoplift. Suspects assaulted employee then fled store on foot and left mall through south entrance. Ongoing investigation.

High Wheels Court, 5300 block, 6:12 p.m. Dec. 21. Entry gained into vacant dwelling.

Caterskill Court, 10500 block, between August and Dec. 20. Dishes, silverware and jewelry discovered missing. No signs of forced entry.
